Why Birchmont

Golf-club understanding, built into every project

Birchmont Golf was founded by Lewis Hadaway and combines modern digital design with first-hand experience of golf-club finance, governance, committee operations and member communication. That practical understanding means less time explaining how a club works—and more time building something that genuinely helps it work better.

Your club should not have to adapt to an off-the-shelf system. Tell us what you need, and we will build a purpose-designed solution around your workflows, responsibilities and priorities.

  • Technical maintenance
  • Content support
  • Continuing improvements
  • Clear data-export and continuity arrangements

Golf-club knowledge behind every solution

Understanding the day-to-day realities of a golf club helps us design better solutions. From public websites to private committee and member systems, everything is built around the club’s objectives, responsibilities and established ways of working.

  • Golf-club understanding

Designed around real committees, staff, members and operational pressures.

  • Practical by design

Clear enough for everyday users, without sacrificing capability or control.

  • Long-term partnership

Hosting, support and continued improvement after the initial launch.

Every project begins with the club’s actual priorities—not a predetermined software package.

How we work

A clear, considered process

Projects can range from a focused improvement to a complete website and connected club system. Every engagement begins with a defined scope and clear quotation.

  1. Understand

Discuss the club, its current systems, frustrations and priorities.

  2. Define

Agree a focused scope, delivery plan and clear quotation.

  3. Build

Design, develop and test with the people who will actually use it.

  4. Support

Host, maintain and improve the solution as the club evolves.

Frequently asked questions

Questions worth answering up front

Do we need to replace our existing golf software?
No. Birchmont can complement and connect with the tee-booking, handicapping, competition, payment and EPOS systems your club already uses. The aim is to improve the gaps around those systems, not replace technology that already works.
Can Birchmont build only one part of the system?
Yes. A project can begin with a focused requirement such as committee voting, membership applications, complaints management or a new public website. Additional modules can be introduced when they provide genuine value.
Who owns our content and data?
Your club retains ownership of its content and data. Project agreements clearly set out hosting, access, backups, export and what happens if the service ends.
Is ongoing support available?
Yes. Birchmont can provide managed hosting, monitoring, backups, technical maintenance, content support and continued development after launch. The exact support arrangement is agreed as part of the quotation.
How does a project begin?
It starts with an informal conversation about the club, its current systems and the problem it wants to solve. Birchmont then defines an appropriate scope, delivery plan and quotation.

Let’s discuss what would make your club work better
